I am absolutely delighted with the finished pieces for my Stand and Deliver project. The glazing has come out brilliantly.
The windmill-inspired stand was glazed using an existing grey/green glaze (origins unknown), which revealed some exciting bronze highlights where it was applied thinly or wiped back.

The trees were decorated with copper oxide and copper carbonate, which was applied quite thickly giving a rich, strong surface.

The traffic light was glazed in a matt black velvet glaze, with the wires being individually picked out using stains - very fiddly but worth the effort.

The porcelain paper clay four bowl piece was partly decorated on the barnacle areas with cobalt carbonate and then dipped in a transparent glaze.

The results for the Christmas party were fantastic, I am absolutely delighted. The traffic light, in particular, really came alive with the addition of the red, yellow and green peppers.
